Not True.

Children just need to learn how to do it. Once they learn what to do in a fun and interesting way and see the results clearly, they take pride in their savings and train themselves to delay gratification and set themselves up for the future.

“They’ll just have to learn how to do it when they’re older.”

 

No way.

​

If they don’t develop healthy financial habits from a young age, they may learn the hard way, or they may not at all. Bar/Bat Mitzvah age is a perfect age because they’re old enough to understand but not old enough to have developed bad habits just yet.

 

“My child won’t enjoy it. They aren’t interested in these things.”

 

Of course, they’re not into it… yet.

It’s a new topic that most normal children don’t think about. Teenagers are wired to think about the present and not the future. But if you open up their eyes and introduce them to this new world, you’ll be surprised just how much they’ll ‘get into it!’
